Edward Japp and Antonia Desplat met at the renowned British drama school The Drama Centre in 2012 where they started creating film projects together. Since graduating, they have built a production company together, entitled Luna Moon Productions, aiming to tell bold and impactful stories through the medium of film.
Antonia trained as an actor at East15 and Edward studied filmmaking at Central Saint Martins. They also both have independent careers which allows them to bring their own experiences of the industry to the table, which, plays a crucial role in the success of their production company.
Their first short film, Held For A Moment, which marks Edward’s directorial debut was critically acclaimed by many film festivals and by the community affected by the subject matter.
Edward and Antonia are very committed and passionate and are constantly looking for interesting bold stories to tell.
They are currently developing their next project entitled Mamie with writer Robyn Grant.
